SKYFALL – Official Teaser Trailer
“Skyfall,” the 23rd James Bond film, has its first teaser trailer.
“Some men are coming to kill us,” Daniel Craig-as-Bond says in the first “Skyfall” tease. “We’re going to kill them first.”
Back for the first time since the underwhelming “Quantum of Solace” — dare you to remember one significant thing about that movie — Bond appears to be at a crossroads in “Skyfall”; after all, as the trailer begins, he’s playing a round of word association with an MI6-approved psychiatrist. (“Murder.” “Employment.” Damn.) That said, not much else can be culled from the teaser for “Skyfall” except that Craig-as-Bond is serious business, and director Sam Mendes loves his silhouettes. No fooling! There are at least nine silhouette shots in this teaser alone! Guy’s a regular John Ford.
Starring Craig, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes and Javier Bardem, “Skyfall” arrives in U.S. theaters on Nov. 9. Watch the first teaser above, and be thankful it manages to avoid using the “Inception” horn.
Skyfall is the twenty-third James Bond film, produced by Eon Productions for MGM, Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Entertainment. Directed by Sam Mendes, it features Daniel Craig’s third performance as James Bond and Javier Bardem as Raoul Silva, the film’s villain. The film is due to be released in the UK on 26 October 2012, which includes IMAX venues
