2012 Transformers Special Edition Camaro Coupe Revealed

With the third Transformers film hitting theaters this week, it’s no surprise that Chevrolet would release a 2012 Transformers Special Edition Camaro Coupe to mark the release of Transformers: Dark Of The Moon.
As astute movie-goers know, Bumblebee, one of the friendly Autobots that protects human protagonist Sam Witwicky, blends in with the rest of the automotive world by disguising himself as Chevrolet Camaro. Well, not one to miss a marketing opportunity, Chevrolet is offering a $3,000 package for those who feel the need for their cars to imitate art.

Available on Rally Yellow V-6 Camaros with 2LT trim and Rally Yellow 2SS models, the package includes black rally stripes for the hood, roof, decklid, and spoiler (which is unique to this package); 20-inch black-painted wheels; high-performance summer tires; and Autobot logos on the front fenders and wheel center caps. A black-painted ground effects kit and 21-inch wheels are available as dealer-installed options.

The interior gets black leather seats with contrasting yellow stitching. That same stitching is also present on the instrument panel, center console, and armrests. Autobot logos are also embroidered into the front headrests and the center-console lid.
You can order your Bumblebee Camaro as soon as July, with the first deliveries expected for September.
